Back story

My name is EllenMaeve Bergh and I am originally from Stockholm, Sweden.
In 1998 my family moved to the west coast of Ireland due to my fathers work as an archeologist, I was 14 years old. In 2013 I decided to move back to Sweden to study biodynamic farming and organic food production. It was there my idea and dream of starting my own plantbased business arose.

 

Journey

When I returned to Ireland in 2016, I opened my first plantbased stall at Tiny traders market, Galway city. I was making and selling nutricious salads, raw food wraps and raw food cakes and I recived a huge interest in my food and I gained alot of returning customers. I was in my element and I knew I had found my passion!I love making people happy and healthy through my love for honest, healthy foods. In 2017 I completed a 12 week certified Rawfood chef course at the Plantbased academy, Dublin.

Food Truck

In 2019 I bought my very first food truck which i spent a long time repairing and getting ready. Sadly covid hit and i wasnt able to launch the food truck until September 2022. I now run the food truck at my local market in Strandhill, Sligo every Sunday from 11am to 16pm. My food truck is also available for hire at special events, tours and group visits.

My Passion

I am very passionate about plant based foods because i know they have a positive effect on our bodies and the environment.

We need to be kinder in every aspect of our lives from the food we eat to the animals we share this beautiful planet with.

I strongly believe that compassion towards ourselves and other beings is the key to a balanced life.

My Vision

I wanted to reach more customers and be part of a wider community, so I decided to buy a food truck and also set up a website so I can reach more customers near and far.
I have also started catering for health retreats in Ireland which I love and I hope to continue. I love making people happy and healthy through my love for food and the planet.
